What lurks

All day I've had this feeling of ever approaching doom. Is it simply October? I tried to avoid it by going back to bed. ...but the knowledge of my lengthy must do list made that impossible. I tried to work but not even knitting could drive this feeling away. I went for a walk only to come home feeling unshaken. Do I need to get out more? I will stick to my knitting.
