Remembrance

Each November my Dad stopped to remember his friends. In my eyes he never stood taller than when he paused to reflect on the past. As he talked I watched the years fall away until he was once again the young man who set off to see the world. Thanks to Dad, for me Remembrance day was never a relic of the past. Sadly, this year Remembrance day has new significance due to the recent deaths of many servicemen. Tomorrow, as usual, I will stop to remember them.
