Ticky 's home
We picked up Ticky from the Vet.
He has stitches on his belly and is a little traumatized but survived the ordeal.
I have nothing but positive things to say regarding our local vet. Its a challenging career. Not only do you have to deal with challenging patiences like our Ticky. Who is the aggressive sort. But also people like myself who are the sensitive sort. Our local vet does all this and more with style.
Unfortunately Ticky's ordeal is not completely over. You see Hubby and I have been instructed to keep Ticky inside for a couple of days so that his wound may heal. Ticky is use to going where he will when he will and so staying "inside" is jail.
The good news is that it is not an abscess but rather an infection. We hope to have the whole story soon when the mass returns from the "off-island" lab.
