Road trip

Have car ready to travel. Our hosts stressed the importance of obeying traffic rules. They were not being anal. In Iceland the police do not fool around. If they catch you speeding they pull you over and you must pay a heavy fine immediately. So warned we set off.
First stop: Akureyri

I immediately fell in love with this beautiful town. "The Queen of the north", "Northern gem" sum up it's beauty.

Tomorrow: we continue on our journey to the Nature Baths. You can't go to Iceland without dipping a toe.
