Saying good-bye to a fine magazine

I recently learnt that Knit Together (the Canadian guild of knitters quarterly magazine) will soon print its last issue.

I have a long history with this magazine. Cynthia MacDougall, the editor and owner, showcased a young designer in one of the magazine's first issues.

And that same designer was featured on the front of one of the last issues...

Cynthia worked hard to bring this fine magazine to Canadian knitters. Although she did receive the occassional contribution, on the whole the magazine truly was an one-woman effort.

I wish Cynthia all the best as she moves on to an even bigger and brighter future.
